Re:Genesis is a multisensory feast for perception, bringing together many forms of expression including music, dance, art, fashion, high quality sound, visuals, and passion.
Christian Martin heads up the musical lineup. A house and techno legend, he is a co-founder of the Dirtybird label along with his own imprint Trippy Ass Techno. His unique and psychedelic takes on mixing deep house and techno include occasional forays into other realms, such as jungle and drum & bass.
Hailing from Colorado are members of the up and coming and high energy “livetronica” band Sunsquabi. Kevin Donahue and Josh Fairman primarily play guitar and bass, along with a variety of synths and samplers and computers. Their music blurs the line between a live band and a DJ, in a new wave of funky electronic dance music played with live instruments.
Bass Nymph, born and raised on Maui and an integral part of the underground on the island, she will be be bringing out only the hottest and most sexy selections of bass.
Awktopus, a many limbed creature also local to Maui, skilled in analog synth and saxaphone, opens up the evening with an eclectic offering that includes analog synth and saxaphone. Not to be missed.
