That feeling of discovering a new song and falling in love with it. That feeling of digging around aimlessly and coming across a record you've been looking for for ages. That feeling that the pieces of a set fit together and the story you are trying to tell connects on the dance floor. It's for feelings like these that Carlita wakes up every morning eager to get her hands on the decks. Born in Istanbul and classically trained, our protagonist became interested in club culture while studying in Boston and wanted to get into the booth to create musical journeys of her own, where genres merge into interrelated sounds and Carlita's diverse background shines through in all its multi-faceted splendour.
