    The desire for change stirs from the inside. We either listen to it—or not. Aluna chose to listen. After generating over one billion streams, selling out shows around the world, and receiving award nominations and widespread critical acclaim as one-half of multi-platinum duo AlunaGeorge, the singer, songwriter, and producer established an unpredictable and undeniable signature sound on her 2020 solo debut. The music represents the culmination of her journey from “a black girl in an all-white British suburb back in the day” to launching a rule-breaking revolution where rigid boundaries dissolve between culture, race, gender, and genre.

      Nominated for Best DJ '13 '14&'15 locally. Trinitron has DJ'd all over Seattle: Q, ReBar, Monkey Loft, Kremwerk,Ora, The Underground, Last Supper Club, SeeSound, Corbu, LoFi, Electric Tea Garden, Chapel, The Big Building. Gigs in Prague, SF, LA, Portland DJ Trinitron’s passion for electronic music began in the early 1990’s. She was lucky enough to be able to listen to C89.5, which to this day, plays electronic beats. While attending Seattle University she was also able to experience the underground rave movement. But her true love for Chicago style house came from nights at Flammable at ReBar. Slowly the electro house influence creeped in to Seattle and DJ Trinitron found another love. The fateful DJ night occurred at an after hours when a friend looked at her and said “you love music too much. Get on these turntables and figure it out”. She did, and a few months later bought her first set of equipment. She’s spun at multiple nights around Seattle and took it international during her time in Iraq. Now that she’s back, she’s heating up the scene again.

The space is designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, the AIA award-winning architects behind such projects as the iconic Apple Cube on New York’s Fifth Avenue, Pixar Studios Headquarters, and Seattle City Hall, to name a few. In addition, Q incorporates world-class audio-visual components as part of its overall design, providing the most memorable experience for our patrons possible. These include a sound system by Funktion One from England that's been designed by Sound Investment AV, and state of the art lighting design by Steve Lieberman of the award-winning SJ Lighting in Los Angeles.
