    WISE is back. The third edition of WISE will take place this week on August 28 and 29. We will have various events for you online, offline & in VR, from Berlin, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, London and you can join us from wherever you are. Together with Reeperbahn Festival, we'll bring you on Friday, August 28th a full music day with online panel discussions & keynotes during the day. In the night there will be some hybrid showcases with Chinese and European bands. On the 29th we focus on the New Realities we are facing in the world. Fittingly we are streaming our program from our so-called "Virtual Reality Island of the New Realities" in which a select group of WISE guests and artists will roam around.

      The Future Festival & Think Tank is China’s most important global summit connecting thought leaders of the creative industries, science, and the tech community on both sides of the Great Firewall. Now in its fourth year, WISE was founded by Philipp Grefer in Beijing in 2018 to spark cross-sectoral dialogue and connect innovators to discuss essential questions about how we want and should live in the future. It showcases new and established talent from various industries. The pandemic-induced New Normal still holds us with a tight grip. A good moment to redefining the way of holding a festival and bringing people together.
