DJ and Co-Founder of Bloom Hill Agency, Kreshik is a smooth hypnotic selector that delves into broken beat, disco, jazz, hip-hop, boogie-funk, afrobeat, house music, beats, bass to name a few. Starting from humble beginnings, the turntablist is infamous for throwing down his “Huveshta Rituals” sessions which sees his audiences falling into a trance. Kreshik is named in reverence of a Czech cartoon mole, a symbolism that he loves to get down and dirty digging for worthy underground records just as moles love to dig holes. Nothing satisfies him more than being able to bring vinyls out from dusty old basements onto electrifying dance floors. Showing no signs of slowing down, Kreshik has made guest mixtapes for Music Is My Sanctuary, Mural Festival and even Pharcyde TV. Without forgetting his monthly radio shows on Kiosk Radio, The Word Radio and Tarmac where he has invited many acts such as Sekan, Shy One, Darker Than Wax, Turbojazz and many other local talents. DJing isn’t his only forte, he was also the curator of Schweitz’Air Festival and Bloomin residencies at Bonnefooi and Kumiko. A man of many talents, Kreshik also dabbled in the film industry. He had the pleasure of directing a documentary called ‘Meet the Beats,’ which highlighted Montreal’s bustling beat-making scene. The film reached international status when they were invited to showcase the documentary at Mural Festival in Montreal this year.
