about
Friday nights are made for dancing, so join us as Emily Jeanne graces the decks of Headquarters with her infectious beats. Let her take you on a musical odyssey filled with heart-stomping bangers and irresistible vibes.

Drawing from a rich palette of fringe Techno derivatives, Emily Jeanne is carving out a unique space for herself among a new wave of expressive DJs and producers. Seamlessly blending skeletal broken beats, propulsive 4x4 rhythms, weightless Ambient tones, and immersive Drone music, this Belgian-Vietnamese artist exhibits smoothness and agility, firmly in command of her art.

In an era where club culture leans toward unbridled intensity, DJs with a nuanced ear are a rare and precious resource. Confidence and versatility are required to take risks in front of any crowd, whether well-prepared or newly arrived, creating unforgettable dancefloor moments with unexpected blends and sonic detours. Emily Jeanne possesses that confidence, honed through an organic career progression.

This sentiment translates into her productions, which resonate with a wide range of influences. Focused yet dynamic, her tracks marry experimental textures with powerful drums when appropriate, accompanied by dense, expertly crafted low-end frequencies. This sound arises from a deep sense of curiosity, influenced by her formative years in Vietnam, Ghent, and later Berlin—a complex and singular journey that continually evolves on an exciting upward trajectory.

From intimate venues to main stages, Emily Jeanne's patience and dedication have yielded remarkable results. She holds residencies at esteemed clubbing institutions like Brussels' Fuse venue and has performed at the iconic Tresor nightclub in Berlin. Additionally, she curates a residency at the acclaimed Kiosk Radio in Brussels, showcasing her musical influences through abstract sets that display the breadth of her artistry.

  • The Weatherman

The Weatherman began noticing, and appreciating music late in his teens through local radio stations, the internet, friends and films, where interest in other musical genres mutated to obsessions. Music events from local night clubs, labels, collectives, and record shops sparked his fascination of how music allowed people to both disconnect, and connect; experiencing the possibilities of music to fit or challenge particular locations, and occasions. Often meandering through genres when dishing out DJ sets, predicting The Weatherman's forecast is often a futile venture, best to keep them ears and minds open.
