The POWER concert series is making its return in 2022 for its fifth concert! POWER: Volume 5 brings to you a kickass line-up featuring Carla Wehbe, Sammi Constantine and Sarah Wolfe on Saturday, 15 January 2022 at Oxford Art Factory, Sydney.
Sydney indie-pop artist, Carla Wehbe is a rising singer, songwriter and producer with a knack for weaving pop melodies and ‘80s nostalgia. Carla Wehbe teleports you back to another era. Merging current pop melodies with a retro nostalgia, Carla Wehbe’s signature sound is a combination hard to ignore.
Carla’s first official release came in 2019 when she collaborated with Tyron Hapi on the hit single ‘Touched’, which has been streamed over 7 million times on Spotify. In 2020 she independently released her debut EP, Half Past Nine, which landed on high rotation on triple j and caught the ear of Warner Music. 2021 saw her collaborate with rapper Illy on the track ‘No Feelings’, part of his #1 ARIA chart selling album The Space Between.
POWER: Volume 5 will support Share the Dignitity with $2 per ticket. Share the Dignity is a women's charity in Australia, that works to make a real, on-the-ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. We distribute period products to women, girls, and anyone who menstruates who needs support. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
