Welcoming global Drum & Bass star Mampi Swift for his first time playing in Singapore, alongside Mr Lloyd (HK) and the finest MCs.
2023 has been a vintage year for Drum & Bass and Jungle events in Singapore, and building on this pedigree we are delighted to present an astounding lineup of cutting edge breakbeats at the ultra-swanky location of Dirty Blonde, Suntec City Sky Garden.
Mampi Swift will need no introduction as one of the leading producers and DJs in the scene, the very definition of a legend scene since the early 90s, and remaining on the cutting edge until today. A pioneer of the double drop style of DJing alongside Andy C, his unmistakable presence behind the decks has formed the backbone of many lineups from the UK to the USA and everywhere in between. A true originator, he has influenced and shaped the scene like few others, and as well as being a top tier DJ, he is also a label boss of the influential Charge Recordings, and the produer of some of biggest tracks in the history of Drum & Bass. We are proud to welcome him to the Red Dot for his first ever show here.
Mr Lloyd is delighted to play his first Singapore show. A veteran of the UK and Hong Kong scenes, he has had residencies at Magnetic Soul HK. Mr Lloyd's style is described as high energy and high impact, crossing subgenres from neuro to rolling.
MC Battery is stoked to return to SG from HK for his second show on the island. A veteran of the UK and HK Drum & bass / Jungle scenes, he has performed with many luminaries of the genres over the years. Expect hard-hitting rhymes to whip the crowd into a frenzy.
MC SWTLKR Vijay Singh aka SWTLKR is the usual unusual suspect in the Singapore electronic music/club arena. He has provided live vocal accompaniment to internationally renowned DJs in various clubs and has performed at numerous large scale festivals voicing the Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival , Zoukout, and WOMAD in Singapore. We're delighted to welcome his rock-solid vocal talents.
GAHMEN is making a name for himself in recent years as part of the new generation of locally raised Jungle aficionados, crossing modern and classic Jungle for a full spectrum of chaotic, tangled and thoroughly danceable syncopated beats.
Davros our founder and D&B obsessive, fresh from playing lighter sets at the like of Under the Bridge and Kings of Bass this summer, will be returning the heat with a hefty slab of deep cuts, dark rollers, thumping steppers, and a sprinkling of heavyweight classics.
