    Well we went and done did it - 10 Years of S.A.S.H. Who would’ve thought Melbourne would be the first cab off the proverbial birthday rank, but here we are locked and loaded, and ready to rumble with all our friends and fam down south! With Sydney still stuck in the prohibition era & Brisbane already finding its feet, Melbourne was the next logical step. It’s been a fair while since we’ve ventured south of the border and this Easter Thursday marks our return! Rounding up some of our favourites from both states to battle it out b2b styles at an idealistic venue, The Third Day hosts the first round of our 10th Birthday celebrations. We’ll be arriving to the venue via the one and only Rabbit Taxi, & headed straight to the smoker’s lounge. The selectors selector, Rabbit is the master of the deep, low & slow but also the chill-out room. Starting the evening with one of his “Smokers Lounge” sets that we listen to every week on Orbital Radio, this is an afternoon session you want to be at. Bring the costume, or better yet, wear it to work and zip straight to The Third Day. Once the sun sets we’re on with a proper lashing of back-to-backing. Making regular appearances in Sydney together, Johan & Charles-Eddy kick off the battle royale. Our good friends Danni B and Lucca Tan go in next, followed by Marley Sherman & Lawless. Final round features the founding father Wallace, and the baddest boy in the business, Dan Baartz. Keeping in birthday tradition, the theme is Excessive Fancy Dress. What does that mean? Come as whatever you want, just make sure there is LOTS OF IT.

      Danni B has been a regular fixture in the Australian & European club scene for almost 2 decade’s. Danni’s journey started when she conceived “Tickled Pink Events”, in Melbourne in 2004, which toured international artists such as Dyed Soundorom & Christian Burkhardt to Australia. She successfully ran TP for 8 years, and this experience definitely raised her desire for the scene overseas. Danni hit the international scene in 2011 when she played her first gigs in Berlin & Prague. It didn’t take long for Danni to realise that she belonged in Berlin; relocating in 2012 where she quickly gained a following and lined up regular gigs locally and then beyond to tour though Europe.

      Johan Elgstrom runs Bounce Audio, Bounce Audio Productions, a Record Store DJ backline hire Audio Production Company with huge Funktion-One rigs in Melbourne Australia. Originally from Stockholm Sweden he now lives and works i Australia. His productions cover House, Techno but always a focus on rhythmical elements with a subby bassline. i have no idea what i'm doing He also runs Short Black Records with releases from Rustal, Dakini9, Johannes Volk, Tristan Kino and Brendon Moeller so far. You can catch him DJing in his adopted city of Melbourne, VLAD & Sugar in Adelaide & SASH in Sydney.

The Melbourne born and bred Dj & Producer first began his journey nine years ago and has become successful in the industry through djing at various club nights and events & his latest realeses. After resigning from full time work, Lucca Tan dedicated his time to his craft, focusing purely on music and running events around the city. Playing at various different venues and supporting a vast range of international acts coming to Melbourne. Lucca is currently involved in the running of his own promotions company DMU that hosts a wide a range of events touring International artists through Melbourne as well as collaborating with various local talent.
