Diversity. It’s a simple world that defnes DJ Lucas Med. Music started early on his life. At the age of 12 he started playing mix tapes on house parties with friends. Using just a cassette player, pair of speakers and a stereo. The passion for music grown and he started listening Rock, Pop, Reggae, Rap, Blues, Alternative and Electronica which really caught his attention. Artists from early stages of Electronic Music, such as Information Society, Technotronic and The Prodigy, contributed to his musicality. After years attending RAVE’s, Trance Festivals and Underground Parties and tasting diferent genres of electronic music, Lucas decided to start putting his entire music library to work and produce his own style of playing, which goes from underground electronic music to pop house tunes. In 2005, he started his career as a professional DJ playing in private events in his hometown in Brazil. In December of the same year he got his frst turntables and brought them to Praia do Rosa –SC, a paradise in South coast of Brazil. The sunset parties at the resort were a blast. Once in San Francisco he got into House, Tech House, and Minimal. Since then, these genres of music have been his signature on the dance foor. He has played in diferent venues in San Francisco and in Brazil and also in some music festivals including twice at the biggest Music and Art Festival in the world -Burning Man- at “The Secret of The Stone Camp”. In the summer of 2009 he has started investing on his career as Music Producer at SFSU. In 2011 Lucas Med is taking over San Francisco-CA playing in festivals and rotating on the best night clubs in town, which earned him a residency at Temple Nigh Club in San Francisco, nominated one of the best mega clubs in USA. This is DJ Lucas Med, a guy who feels satisfed by getting the best music with more variety for you on the dance foor.
