  • Laura King

Laura King hails from the Southern shores of Australia, where she’s performed at an array of festivals, events and club shows across the country. Add to that her first international festival and it’s easy to see why this unique young lady is proving to be a crowd favourite wherever she goes. Combining influences from early tribal techno, hard trance and acid, Laura’s music creates a nostalgic yet innovative performance and the uproar of a good old classic dance party.

  • The first in a series of electronic music events that employ movement & energy to create a new large scale experience at Melbourne’s home of techno OR Melbourne’s brand new Basement Club. Exposed concrete, pipes and pillars will combine with LED wall and ceiling strips, top quality sound and lighting to welcome clubbers to ‘XE54’ when they enter its doors beneath a bridge on the fringe of the city’s CBD. An industrial meets sci-fi aesthetic will be complemented by no external signage at the South Melbourne venue. Instead, the light of a lone xenon gas lamp (which inspired the name) – and most likely a decent line – will mark the entrance to the European-inspired club.
