Alexandra Margo Sholler, who performs as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ, and singer. After years of intense touring and international on-road antics (something she covers in detail on the recently-premiered Underplayed documentary that dissects the gender and ethnic imbalance of the dance music industry), Alison has embraced the time out and headspace to enjoy a little gaming, sleep and mother nature’s finest. DJ-wise she’s still been as present as one can be during the great rave shutdown with modem-mashing sets for Digital Mirage and Lollapalooza and a series of DJ tutorials for her fans.

Joel Thomas Zimmerman, known professionally as Deadmau5, is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. He has been at the forefront of the EDM scene for over 15 years. With his distinctive masked look and grandiose shows, he’s done more than almost anyone else within dance music to blur the boundaries between DJing and live performance.

A superstar DJ, sought-after producer, taste-making label owner, and wizard behind Major Lazer, Diplo (aka Diplodocus, Wes Diplo, and Wes Gully) launched his career on the fringes of dance music. With his mash-up mixtapes, he found and created a sound where his musical tastes -- '80s pop, electronica, Dirty South hip-hop, and his major influence, Miami bass music -- intersect. His attention-grabbing projects Hollertronix, with partner DJ Low Budget, and the Piracy Funds Terrorism, Vol. 1 mixtape, with British-Sri Lankan MC M.I.A., made a heavy impact on the alternative electro-pop scene, amassing rave reviews from music critics and indie kids alike.

William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, better known by his stage name DJ Snake, is a French record producer and DJ from Paris, France. DJ Snake’s innate ability to deliver huge collaborations — with his contacts list including Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Cardi B, Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Diplo, Aluna George, Offset, and 21 Savage. DJ Snake has dropped two pieces of new music in 2020. Trap cut ‘Trust Nobody’ landed in June, and has amassed over 1.5m plays on YouTube at the time of writing, and a blistering Audrey Nuna remix, called ‘Damn Right Pt. 2’, which followed in October. Real name William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, his beloved Paris St. Germain nearly went all the way in the Champions League in 2020, eventually shut out by Bayern Munich in the final in August. Fans must be hoping he’s been busy in the studio through lockdown, ready to turn the world’s biggest stages back into a zoo again, once it’s safe to do so.

Martin Garrix – the name that belongs to one of the youngest and most successful DJ’s/producers championing the pop and electronic scene. Garrix has taken his expertise across the globe, by headlining festivals, breaking through territories, and collaborating with major stars including Dua Lipa, Khalid and Bono, and The Edge. Climbing yet another rung of his ladder to stardom, he is a founder of his very own label (STMPD RCRDS), owner of a studio complex in Amsterdam, and a mentor to upcoming artists. Now in his mid-twenties, multiple years into a career that began by debuting the single ‘Animals’ back in 2013. The invigorating, dance-floor stomper soared to the top of the charts worldwide, ultimately altering the status of what would be considered popular music. Continuing his voyage to conquer the mainstream catchment area over the years, Garrix has become responsible for providing us with infectious and anthemic dance and pop records alongside a string of memorable collaborations; ‘In The Name Of Love’ with Bebe Rexha, ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ with Dua Lipa, ‘Ocean’ with Khalid, ‘Summer Days’ with Macklemore and Patrick Stump, and ‘We Are The People’ with Bono and The Edge. There’s no doubt that this ability to reinvent his brand and fearlessly experiment with his sound is an undeniable testament to his talent and longevity, ultimately driving his legendary narrative even further.

Nina Kraviz is one of techno’s most iconic DJs. Famous for both her dynamic and varied DJ sets, captivating performances and her acclaimed label трип (Trip), she’s been a techno powerhouse since she launched on the scene in 2009. In 2020, she played a series of live stream events and virtual festivals including an empty Dance Arena at EXIT and even on top of Mount Olympus in Greece. She also collaborated with streaming giants Spotify when she was chosen to be part of their trackID series, providing a regularly updated playlist to the platform that includes tracks from her own label as well as a diverse collection of releases from across multiple genres. That genre-hopping is also evident in her sets, where trance, techno, ambient and hardstyle can all be heard in one swoop, with her inimitable presence in the booth adding to the allure of Kraviz’s sets. As the DJ who played the most sets of any other in 2018, we’re sure she’ll be the first to hit the road again once it’s safe to do so. ~ DJMag

A production duo featuring Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, the Chainsmokers mix indie, dance, and pop into a chart-topping sound that's spawned no less than ten multi-platinum singles. The pair released their official debut single in 2014, a number one dance hit called "#Selfie" that both celebrated and skewered 2010s narcissism. Two Top Ten pop hits, "Roses" and "Don't Let Me Down," followed in 2016, each of them certified at least five-times platinum. "Closer," featuring Halsey on vocals, began climbing to the top during the summer of 2016, remaining there for 12 weeks and eventually earning 12-times platinum status. In 2017, Taggart and Pall switched up their aggressive EDM approach to include more pop and indie rock touches, but remained a platinum act with singles including 2017's "Something Just like This," featuring Coldplay. Starting in 2018, they released a single each month, later collected on Sick Boy (2018) and World War Joy (2019).

DJ Tiësto, also known as Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda, Netherlands. He is considered one of the pioneers of the trance music genre and is known for his live shows and remixes of popular songs. Tiësto began his career in the early 1990s and released his first solo album, "In My Memory," in 2001. He has since released several more albums and has performed at major music festivals around the world. He was voted the "world's No.1 DJ" by DJ Magazine in 2002, 2003 and 2004, and in 2013, he was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag.

ZHU is the mysterious Chinese-American artist behind the 2014 hit single “Faded”. His real name is Steven Zhu and he was born in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. Although he released his first single anonymously in 2014, it wasn’t until 2015 that ZHU revealed himself as the mastermind behind the project. Over the years, he has become one of the most prolific electronic music producers in the world. ZHU’s career began with his self-titled debut album in 2014. The album featured several hit singles such as “Faded”, “Stay Closer” and “Working for It”. Since then, he has released four more albums: Ringos Desert (2016), Generationwhy (2016), Stardustexhalemarrakechdreams (2017) and RINGOS BACK (2019). He has also collaborated with many notable artists such as Tame Impala, KAYTRANADA, Skrillex, and Nero. In 2015, ZHU was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his debut album. He won the award for Best Dance Recording at the 2016 Grammy Awards for his collaboration with Skrillex and they Boyz Noize on “Working For It”. In 2018, he was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his most recent album RINGOS BACK. Moreover, he has performed at various festivals around the world such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival.
