Stevie Hendry (AKA Modernist) has been DJing and collecting 7 inch vinyl for many years, playing gigs using strictly vinyl 45's around Melbourne and interstate. During the period of Covid the Modernist Dj's have been broadcasting live gigs bring DJ's from all over Australia together for our Quarantine A GoGo loungeroom parties. Playing 1960's and 70's Soul, Northern Soul, Rhythm N Blues,Motown funk and disco. The music is a true dancefloor winner and perfect for your local bar, club or function. As a graphic designer we can also help with promotional material for any gigs. Below is just some of the events we have been involved with recently. At the moment we run regular monthly gigs at You Goat Soul at the Fat Goat in Upwey and GoGo Train at Sooki Lounge in Belgrave.
