Born in Cappadocia, Turkey, Berkay Mete is a DJ and producer hailing from the city of one of the most recently stirring scenes: Istanbul and has been putting on various electronic music nights in Melbourne as well. He practiced his skills by playing at almost every club in his favorite town and many places in Europe and Australia. Berkay is passionate about sharing the sounds inspired by his exposure to traditional instruments and melodies during his upbringing. He focuses on mixing Anatolian, Middle Eastern flavours with his own touch in electronic music and experiments with the traditional sounds of his roots to create spiritual experiences. Berkay has been moving crowds since 2009 and been delivering various kinds of genres to his audience. Anything can be expected from his sets due to his wide-ranging background and knowledge in music. Walla C is a hip hop producer and DJ from Brazil now resident in Melbourne. His compositions are known for their signature percussive style, feature intricate synths and draw inspiration from jazz, funk, and Afro-Brazilian sounds. His Roland SP555 live beat sets are spontaneous and complex, combining originals with reworks of contemporary classics. His DJ sets are dynamic and rhythm-driven, as he weaves effortlessly between Afrobeat, trap, raw baile funk and tropical bass to ignite dancefloors.
