Through events company ‘Primitive People’ his body of work began, hosting regular club nights under the brand ‘someone,’ artist showcases at Earthcore, Babylon and world renowned Revolver Upstairs. A natural love and passion for music is often told through tales of infamous closing sets in the early hours. Born in Auckland New Zealand, Caine Sinclair has spent most of his child and adult years growing up in what he considers his home town Melbourne Australia. Safe to say his Polynesian roots had much influence in the style of music he listened to, with a love in particular for Hip hop and Reggae. His passion for music extended into mastering the strings of the bass guitar whilst playing in a band throughout his adolescent years. His first set of Technics turntables were given as a birthday present not long after he finished high school. Equipped with decks and a pioneer mixer, Caine began to develop his Dj skills. He educated himself by watching performances by Local and International Djs circulating the Melbourne scene at the time. A defining moment where Caine’s flavour in music had shifted; he distinctly recalls the first proper techno track heard was in a friend’s car playing on repeat, from that moment on he was hooked.

Jasmine Speers is well known throughout the Sydney music scene as an artist that brings her full enthusiasm and creative flare to her craft, she is a genuine performer and leaves you wanting more, no stranger to the spotlight her confidence and stage presence are as infectious as the women herself. Not only has she played at all of the best clubs in Sydney, places such as Chinese Laundry, The Burdekin Hotel, she’s headlined for events across New South Wales very early on in her music career. Her attention has now turned to a new found love of production and has recently stated releasing her own music, no stranger to hard work she moved to Melbourne where her career and sound has been well received, opening for headline DJs and local super clubs such as New Guernica, 24 Moons, and Poof Doof.

With his passion for music cemented in from a young age, Dylan discovered the sound that has inspired him since in the wee hours of the morning of Rainbow Serpents market stage in 2012. It was then that he discovered the dark, melodic and heaving techno beats that has helped curve his taste in music. It is her way of tapping into confidence and defiance that she otherwise feels distant from. MARSH LONG is a Melbourne based DJ that has found her love in music since a very young age. Growing up learning music from a young age has set MARSH LONG on a musical journey that has found her in a place that is anything but the familiar setting of classical piano and violin. In her DJ performances, she incorporates concepts into the majority of her sets, this being one of the defining reasons she sticks out from most of the artists you hear at the club. There is a constant thrive of driving beats that keeps your feet moving and your heart-beat flowing, her sets always aim to take you through a musical journey creating a unique arc that leaves you feeling a different way to what you came with.

DJ Mish’Chief, (aka Marishka), spent her childhood growing up in South Africa, Europe and South America before arriving in Australia - from an early age music was always her constant providing a universal language that transcended culture and continents. Early influences included Punk, Hard Rock, Gospel, Soul and what used to be considered alternative - bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Jesus and the Mary Chain, Violent Femmes and other ‘ early indie’ sounds. First exposed to the energy and drive of ‘dance music’ in the late 80’s, she was passionate about exploring the emerging genre. It wasn’t until some 20 years later in Melbourne 2000 that a short course in ‘beat mixing’ introduced her to the other side of the DJ booth and the thrill of to beat mix vinyl. It was the beginning of her current addiction - TUNES and the endless creativity offered from “mixing”.
