Mucho Flow is becoming more and again synonymous with adventure and discovery. Over 9 editions, the Guimarães-based festival has invited both audiences and artists to share a singular context, with a lineup with a keen eye to the future through present sounds and expressions, carefully curated without prejudice, distributed throughout the city’s various and different venues. All persons are active performers in this quest of finding out, figuring themselves out under next to new and uncommon peers, and getting to know Guimarães with new soundtracks.
Since the very beginning, Mucho Flow has promoted this mindset of finding what’s new, expanding borders, and overcoming preconceptions, always going a bit beyond of what might be expected from a small boutique festival — and with that, having promoted a record-worthy number of national debuts and early adoption of new trends, such as Black Midi, Slauson Malone, Loraine James, Lee Gamble, Space Afrika, Sky H1, Horse Lords, Sega Bodega, Jockstrap, just to name a few.
For its 10th edition, Mucho Flow will add one day to its former 2day format, as well as other artistic expressions, such as AV installations, and a more critical approach towards curatorship through a small conference.
The setting is always the same: Mucho Flow is a ever-growing, always expanding festival of discovery, where you will get to know all the artists that will inhabit your streams and record collections for the next months, up until the next edition.
