Embrace the spirit of Friday nights as you make your way back to Headquarters. Venture Upstairs and let Kotsu guide you through an extraordinary odyssey of soundscapes. Join us as you experience an unforgettable night of pure bliss on the dance floor! Member of the house music collective CYK, Kotsu has performed at numerous gigs both in Japan and abroad. CYK is frequently invited for B2B sets and has graced venues in Tokyo such as CONTACT, Womb, and VENT, along with major festivals like "Rainbow Disco Club," "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL," and "Wonderfruit Festival."
Maintaining a consistent pace of activities since moving to Kyoto in September 2020, by February 2023, Kotsu had played in 30 cities across Japan. He organized his own party, "UNTITLED," in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, in addition to holding residency events in Okayama and Hiroshima. Kotsu continues to infuse dance music and clubbing with pure energy on a national scale. In 2023, he delivered an all-night long set at WWW X.
As a DJ, Kotsu crafts borderless dance music spanning decades, incorporating archives from the past as reference points. He is renowned for his unique selections that align with social moods and floor grooves. Kotsu's creative output extends beyond music; he has designed numerous flyers for his own parties and CYK, as well as contributed to the ZINE magazine, featuring his columns from the past.
