It’s time to unleash the chaos once again as we welcome our next international DJ to our upcoming event. This time, in collaboration with OMA, we proudly present the multi-talented Baldo, hailing from Barcelona and renowned for his electrifying performances across the globe. As the owner of Subwax and a former resident of Razmatazz, Baldo is set to make his debut in Hong Kong, delivering an incredible selecta that will leave you in awe.

Prepare to be captivated by Baldo’s sound, as he showcases his mastery as a world-renowned producer. With a discography featuring releases on esteemed labels like Permanent Vacation and his very own Physical Education, his musical journey promises an unforgettable experience.

From acid-infused bumpy House beats to mesmerizing trancy vibes, Baldo will bring an unparalleled energy and infectious good vibes to OMA’s dance floor. Baldo

Producer, DJ, label-head, businessman. Subwax Distribution. Physical Education. Curated By Time. BLD Tape Recordings. Eight things which, on their own, might not seem connected. But join the dots and you’ll see that for Barcelona’s Baldo, each of these represent the many strings to his bow. As a producer, Baldo’s discography speaks for itself. Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Step Recordings and a soon-to-land EP on leftfield outfit E-Beamz showcase the breadth of his output. He’ll shortly be releasing on his own imprint Physical Education, and on Permanent Vacation too, joining the likes of Fort Romeau and Lauer. As a businessman, his Subwax Distribution company has become a global institution, distributing releases for a plethora of vinyl-only outfits. It’s now a go-to service for several of the scene’s leading imprints, including Limousine Dream, Butter Side Up, Haŵs Music, Mindhelmet and Slapfunk to name a few. As a multiple label-owner, his Physical Education, Curated By Time and BLD Tape Recordings imprints represent the styles that make him tick. A ‘90s re-release of Affie Yusuf here, a hard-edged acid offering under his BLD alias there… the productions span across the board, embodying his musical tastes through-and-through. Add to that his former residency at seminal Barcelona nightspot Razzmatazz, one that he’s held down for nearly a decade, and you’ll quickly learn that Baldo’s involvement in dance music runs deep. And at the core of it? His love for music. Now that’s something we can all salute.

Saint Bernard

For a decade now, Saint-Bernard has been on a relentless journey, crisscrossing the cultural hotspots of Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris, Berlin, and even Hanoi, leaving a trail of ecstatic ravers in his wake. His eclectic sets, infused with a heady mix of, House, Trance, and Hi-NRG, have earned him a reputation for being one of the most versatile DJs on the scene. And now, since 2021, he has landed in Hong Kong, where he's quickly established himself as a go-to selector, spinning under the radar parties with the rest of the Chaotic Pavilion clan." Moving on to his musical style, Saint-Bernard's sets are a masterclass in genre-hopping, with Disco and Italo-Disco providing the backbone for his deck-playing. It’s however, his love for House music that sets him apart, with his sets showcasing the full spectrum of the genre, from deep and soulful to dancey and High BPM. Saint Bernard is also excellent at reading the crowd, sensing the mood of the dancefloor, and responding with a seamless flow of music that keeps the party going all night long.

OMA is proudly one of Hong Kong's only dedicated club for underground house, Techno, Trance ,bass & break music , which boast more watts per square foot than any other venue you can imagine. The rough cosiness in a petite but yet bombastic environment with a massive screen playing to your mind with crystal-clear (HD) psychedelic graphic patterns over few drinks is one of a kind experience not many clubs can offer. The same spot has played host for over 12 years to a large and ever-loyal clientele and new customers alike in various guises,namely, Phi-b's, Yumla & then Midnight & Co. OMA was born in 2014 to carry on the fine traditions it has inherited and had taken fun to the next level. It continued the no fuss, underground madness, where music and ONLY music matters with the best local and overseas DJs gracing the booth and letting the music to do the rest of the talking. In the 6th year under this badge, OMA had invested heavily in upgrading the decoration (whilst maintaining the original New York and Detroit underground music loft culture) and in June 2019 we have further installed expensive new music systems & hardware to supplement the improved decoration. Precision Devices drivers (as used in Funktion-1 speakers) and best Lab Gruppen amplifiers and award winning mixers (Xone-96 & Midas Venice F16) were added to the booth stable together with dbx 4800 crossovers to up the music a few more notches. Come and feel the difference...you won’t regret your visit and maybe addicted to the sounds!
