Known as hard-as-steel plates and murky electronic rhythm, Dekadenz (@dekadenznow) is a club night in Jakarta that host local and international talent like Sunmantra, The Hand, Vladimir Ivkovic, Ivan Smagghe, Manfredas, Powder and Cosmo Vitelli.
Now expanded as a records label, Dekadenz have spanned their artist roster from Russian dissidents of Olta Karawane to DJ Chida alter ego Mr. E, and also Singaporean based DJ Muto and Ed Dix from Malaysia. The label also features Themes For Divided Tribes volumes, which is a compilation of hi octane industrial beat to half-baked mutant techno featuring rabid underdogs from Indonesia.
They currently host a monthly radio show on Kiosk Radio in Brussels as part of Outsiders global live program, promoting alternative music from labels, collectives, agencies, venues and clubs worldwide.
This time the resident selectors of the label (@ridwan________, @aditya_permana78, @ojonkusuma) are assembled at @tuffclub to celebarate the release of the new title “MIRARE” produced by their Singapore based fellowman, @mutomasashi.
Also enrolled in the lineup to cover fire is @aalelyzahid, a key man of Singapore’s avant-garde party crew @strangeweatherallday.
