about
Featuring an all Asian lineup in the main room for an Asian approach on the "Cosmic Sound" and a chill room filled with art & activities for you to listen to downtempo and trippy sets, Club Cosmic is set to be the first cosmic party ever in Hong Kong and introduce a new sound to the growing electronic music scene here.

We are delighted to welcome Delhite digger Digging in India. Running a beloved music blog and YouTube channel of the same namesake, Digging in India is a young name but one with a strong foundation - it really is all about the music.

Ani Phoebe reinforces the party as a Camp Cosmic resident and conceptual mind behind the party. DMK will showcase his knowledge of rare Asian groove. WOON will focus on the slower, chuggier side of electronic music and Vence will get to show a rare side of a non dancefloor set that may still call to the dancers like a snake rising from a hat - expect trippy downtempo and relaxing sounds.

    Ani Phoebe

Ani Phoebe is a DJ from NYC who is currently based in Hong Kong by way of Rio de Janeiro. She founded Bad Times Disco, an online record shop in Hong Kong, and runs a monthly show called Parallel Worlds on The Lot Radio. She comes from digging tradition and favors lesser-known 80s and 90s records from unexpected corners and crates. One of Ani Phoebe’s areas of experience is the downtempo, cosmic disco, and synth-pop realms, being a resident DJ of the renowned underground music festival Cosmic Gathering (DE) and having performed at experimental stages on Nation of Gondwana (DE) and Atlas Electronic (MR). At the same time, her breadth also extends to heavy dancefloors and electronic clubs, performing sets that expand on 90s progressive house to 2000s Eurodance, digging for rare versions of nostalgic numbers. Weaving through all her sets are emotional, often female vocals, and synthesized sounds in all of their diversity and power. A strong emerging DJ on the global scene, Ani Phoebe has recently toured Brazil, the US, and Europe in 2022.

  • DMK

DMK is a Miyazaki native, a specialized Japanese chef by day and digger in his free time. In Miyazaki, he was part of the “Boogie or Die” and “Spice” party crews. Heavily influenced by boogie, funk, and soul, he has a smooth and sensual approach to DJing and an endless appetite for records. As the co-founder and 1 of the 2 main sourcers for Bad Times Disco, he curates rare Asian groove records, dance singles, and only understands pure quality. Bad Times Disco is an online record store, pop up party, and radio show in Hong Kong made up of two committed diggers, Ani Phoebe (NYC) and DMK (Japan). Together, they dig for the city's forgotten records - rare Asian grooves, dubby disco, soul, experimental electronic music, 90s dance and more.

  • K.Woon

As a professional, K.Woon has curated immersive atmospheres for luxury, sportswear, and food & beverage brands in commercial spaces. She is obsessed with crate-digging when traveling. Her academic work examines how emerging technologies such as AI, streaming platforms, social media are reshaping the music discovery experience, and suggests ways to create sustainability in the creative industry. She is now dedicated to curating a sound of her own in the underground space ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ̸BIOGRAPHY K.Woon is a homegrown crate digger of dark and dissonant sounds. Her selections often resonate the sounds of nonconformity for the untamed, embracing the hazy mirages that emanate from this decaying aura of living dystopia. K.Woon is a homegrown crate digger of dark and dissonant sounds ranging from dub to brutal techno; retrowave to electro, from rhythmic noise to deconstructed beats and so on. Nevertheless, she has curated immersive virtual and music experiences for luxury brands, sportswear, cafe and restaurants across varieties of channels throughout the APAC. Her academic work examines how emerging technologies, such as streaming platforms, social media, AI and algorithms- reshape the music discovery experience and suggest pathways towards a more sustainable creative industry. Her selections often delve into the aesthetic illusion of intense desires in the darkness for the untamed dance floor.

  • Vence

Through a selection of high-level grooves and top-shelf energy, Vence’s sets deliver a lush blend of bass-heavy rollers combined with euphoric electronica. Raised in The Hague on the coast of the Netherlands, Vence was exploring dancefloors and collecting music as a youngling well before he took up DJing. With a move to North Africa, he quickly became part of the vibrant Tunisian music scene, playing for the influential ‘Downtown Vibes’ collective, the mesmerizing Tunisian ‘Woodstock Festival’ and many clubs such as ‘Wax Bar’, ‘Yuka’ and ‘Habibi’. Vence is currently based in Hong Kong. Though you might catch his jazzier side playing vinyl sets at the Mandarin Oriental, he has found a true home with the minimal stronghold ‘Interlude’, where his sound has been given a platform for opening doors and minds alike. Towering over the decks with a smile, Vence intends to make otherworldly sounds feel familiar and bring listeners together in sonic moments that briefly make us whole.
