Kris Baha, the dark prince of Industrial/EBM/Synth Punk & Synth pop mutations, has carved a unique path in the electronic music scene. Originally from Australia, he now resides in East Berlin, drawing inspiration from the gritty urban landscape and underground culture. Known for his mutant trademark production style, Baha creates music that embodies the clandestine and industrial atmosphere of the city after dark.
Baha has become a fixture in Berlin's Industrial EBM and club scene, performing at renowned parties and venues like Cocktail D'Amore, Tresor, Panorama Bar, RSO, and Urban Spree. His DJ sets delve deep into the void, taking listeners on a journey through otherworldly machine music driven by emotion and mood.
In 2021, Baha released "Into The Dark," a testament to his production skills and a nod to his songwriting background. This album reflects the transitional phases of the late '80s and '90s in the Industrial/Wave scene, marking a new musical direction for Baha.
The year 2022 brought exciting opportunities for Baha, including remixing a single for Hercules & Love Affair's album "Grace" and joining Boy Harsher on their European tour. Baha also embarked on his own 26-show tour in the USA in October 2022.
In April 2023, Baha introduced his new band moniker, Ghosts In the Machine (GITM), a sci-fi inspired concept set in two timelines. GITM explores the notion of correcting society before the AI takeover, represented in their single "Nothing is Real," a cyber body music odyssey that reflects on social media's influence.
Throughout his extensive career, spanning over 13 years, Kris Baha has garnered a dedicated fanbase across Australia, Berlin, and beyond, thanks to his boundary-pushing artistry and unwavering commitment to his craft.
