Paul Gorrie (Gunai/Kurnai/Yorta Yorta) is an emerging filmmaker, musician, DJ, youth project worker and radio presenter based in Naarm on Wurundjeri Country.

EMPRESS is a Melbourne based, 6-piece ensemble who strive to create a unique and innovative platform for three part vocal harmony. The vocalists are accompanied by synth, bass and percussion drumming, performing songs of the gospel, jazz and RnB genre.

Because he was born in Tokyo and because especially his hometown Shinjuku Kabuki-cho has many people, ethnicities, and cultures, that has hugely inspired his life and music . He has played many clubs and festivals in Tokyo since 2011. Sometimes he plays disco and other times techno , soul , rock ... His performances are characterized by consistently great music. Furthermore, he has organized parties that have been featured in international artists. He has been trying to perform in Melbourne / Australia since 2019.
