FJAAK, the Berlin-based duo of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own.

GUILLEN grew up with music being a huge part of his life, and he was heavily influenced by Jazz, Bossa Nova, Funk Soul, Hip Hop and Disco. A Musician since a young age, he began DJing and running parties in 2005, becoming the pioneer of holding Psytrance raves in his city. At that time, he had the opportunity to play in huge events and festivals around Brazil, as well as sharing the stage alongside respected names of the Psytrance/Prog scene. After moving to São Paulo in 2012, he was forced to put his music passion aside and dedicate himself full-time to his professional career in the business market where he got his degree in Financial Management. Based in Sydney, Australia since 2015, quickly getting back into the underground music scene has meant that he is now able to dedicate a lot of his time to producing and playing. His signature style is Minimal/Deep Tech and House with a unique groovy edge, influenced by his love for Jazz and Funk.

Highbeam is a duo from the Northern Beaches consisting of Lachie Marks and Jake Einspinner. Having cemented them selves in the Sydney scene over the past year playing their unique spectrum of sounds, allowing them to warm up and support International acts such as; Nina Kraviz, Bjarki, Cristoph, Diego Krause, Julietta, Traumer and more. To further their love of music and partying Highbeam have also started hosting takeovers to cultivate parties.

Holding down regular appearances at some of Australia’s most esteemed haunts of house (think the likes of SASH, Breakfast Club & Goodbar) Litmus’ funky flavour and technical prowess in his DJ sets are just as alluring, with never a dull moment, as each track finds its way into the next through an unstoppable groove.

Spain-based producer Eric Estornel initially reserved the name Maceo Plex for his festival-friendly house productions before gradually taking the project into a darker, more introspective direction. After establishing himself in the techno world for his work as Maetrik beginning in the early 2000s, and exploring more abstract electro and IDM as Mariel Ito around the middle of the decade, he began releasing some of his most accessible tracks under the Maceo Plex handle starting in 2009. Over the course of the following decade, the project evolved from deep, sexy house with prominent Chicago and Detroit influences (such as on debut full-length Life Index) to a significantly more dramatic sound (particularly the ambitious Solar). In addition to releasing singles and full-lengths on well-regarded labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Kompakt, and Minus, Maceo Plex has mixed volumes of the DJ-Kicks and Fabric series. ~ AllMusic
