Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. Having been a drummer and member of a local band in his formative years, he eventually sought refuge in electronic music; cultivating a sound that can best be described as fluid, and with an emphasis on the hypnotic spectrum of techno. He perceives sets as flowing journeys, which requires time, and an element of patience to achieve. 4Hz was born in Macau, he was introduced to the world of music at a young age. He found his passion to music and became a member of a heavy music band as the keyboardist, which performed in many cities in south China. He began to fall in love with house and techno music at 2014 and then became a DJ the year after. 4HZ is good at creating unique atmosphere with the sound of modern ambient techno, meticulous rhythm and drum sounds will bring everyone to the dancefloor. He met DJ Gordon by chance and joined the asylum group, and is one of the artists of asylum now.

JayMe may not be a familiar name globally, but try mentioning it to any credible DJ in HK, and you will be met with wide opened eyes and a big grin. Cuz he’s one of the most respected figure in the local scene. He grew up in the 70’s witnessing the disco boom first hand. He kept his love collecting records and going to parties for more than 30 years. Began DJing from 2013 alongside his medical career, earning the title “the Disco Doctor”. Started his own Loft style private club in 2015 called Acadana (literally means Party without a care) which has become the most cherished place amongst all underground DJs. Dabbled into Techno territory in 2017 playing at Teknival, Social Room etc. 2018 saw him did several unforgettable gigs at 宀club, the rising star of HK’s scene. Regardless of the genre he’s playing, JayMe is still deeply rooted in old skool NYC style with just one resident DJ for the whole night, à la Larry Levan or Junior Vasquez...

With a background in hip hop, soul, and R&B, KMG has been building his eclectic collection for over a decade, since life in the states. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to dance music. This has seen him dive deeply into House and Acid as well as taking inspiration from a wide range of music and mixing influences. Having initially focused on primarily playing psychedelic trance, an introduction to Sandwell District's revered 'Feed Forward' LP signaled the start of a new phase. A torrent of new influences then led meta on a meandering path of esoteric techno. At present, meta avoids sitting in any one pocket; contented more with crossing over and exploring genre mutations. By embracing every personal musical imprint, he tries best to convey these broad elements onto the dance floor. With a growing reputation as a versatile taste-maker; meta's forward thinking yet nostalgic approach continues to draw praise. Mill’s selection is beyond the boundary of genres and styles. The music he chooses to play often embraces a rich texture and reflects the atmosphere of the crowd and venue. For Mill, a great DJ set is a journey of balancing and merging the mind and music——aurally feeling the space; physically expressing the emotion. Mill is also a co-founder and resident DJ of the party collective, UTOPIA Hong Kong. UTOPIA has been actively involved with and pushing Hong Kong’s electronic music scene, gathering both local listeners and performers at once.

Digging deeper and casting a wider net than even the most voracious collectors, her penchant for the strange doesn’t acknowledge trends so much as redefine them. Sunsiaré, birthed Jean-François Amadei, is no new face to the East-Asia scene. A figure whose tastes have manifested themselves by way of the Hanoi based Savage Club - whose early days saw a slew of talent pass through the Vietnamese capital and prompted a resurgence of local electronic artists. JF is a natural-born record digger, whose knowledge of what makes a dance floor move goes beyond the last decade and whose diverse collection begs for sonic exploration. Playing alongside such artists as Berghain’s Roi Perez, Boris & Barker, as well as DJ heavyweights like Gonno and Cormac, Amadei is not unfamiliar to the art of the mix. JF, whose hands are also behind the Homesick, FGHB, and the newly launched labels 宀, gave way to creative minds like Powder, Mr. Ho, Marquis Hawkes, General Ludd, and LPZ. Both labels, whose outlets were dedicated to timeless reworks, can be seen riddled with Jf’s influences. New pastures have led Jean-Francois to the recently minted Hong Kong-based 宀 club in 2018, in which he holds the utmost weight of talent buying for the club's weekly programming of European imports, as well as local Hong Kongese as well as regional artists and DJs alike. TAKU HIRAYAMA (Junktion) Taku Hirayama, or simply known as Taku, is a Japanese DJ based in Asia. Exploring DJing at the turn of this century, Taku cultivated a wide range of music selection with many chances of musical meeting across the globe in past years. Leaving the shores of southern Japan, Taku relocated himself from Fukuoka to Hong Kong over a decade ago. There he launched his own platform "Junktion”. A venture for inviting credible names in the industry and like-minded artists, also exposing hidden talents to global audience.

Mei grew up near the vibrant megacity Chengdu in the lush Western China Sichuan Basin. At the age of 9, she began to learn the traditional Chinese Erhu, a genuinely mysterious folk instrument, two-stringed, played with a bow and made from carved wood and snakeskin, sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or the Chinese two-stringed fiddle. Inspired by her passion for the electronic music scene of Chengdu’s hyped underground, Mei started to fuse traditional Chinese folk music with minimalistic techno tunes.
