This flexibility is something he’s emphasised for Yeti Out, which started as a party-promoting music collective that has now branched out into everything from art shows, a record label and a creative agency. Hugo first discovered underground house and techno when he worked as an event photographer in 2010. The bold and mesmerizing tunes he heard at legendary venues Yumla and Bassment piqued his interest in the art of DJing. With his photography on hiatus since 2017, Hugo now plays consistent, well-curated sets to diverse audiences. Hugo's taste in 4/4 dance music can best be described as “very deep”, but he also enjoys experimenting with hip hop and indie rock – the two genres he grew up with - when the moment is right. Arriving at each gig with an external hard drive worth of uncompressed music, there are always the right tunes at Hugo's disposal, for a bar session, club night or beach party. Hugo has played at some of Hong Kong's most notable events and venues including Acadana, Fauve Radio, Mihn Club, Oma, Schweinehund Teknival and Shi Fu Miz Festival.

Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his unique style of blending techno, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility of enjoying the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-minded and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more. He has also performed at a renowned experimental venue in Tokyo, KGR Tokyo, and has contributed a podcast mix to C-Kay’s Coma Hole series.

Casey Anderson’s take on house and techno is based on his deep respect for dance music’s roots: Detroit techno, Soul Train funk, and cosmic German electronic music. Ignoring charts, trends and clichés, his DJ sets are playful and unpredictable. Casey is constantly connecting new dots between obscure, classic and futuristic 4/4 dance music without shying away from the unexpected 80s synthpop or a disco anthem at peak hour. In 2013 the American-born DJ released his first tracks on Italian label Opilec Music (alongside inspirations like Derrick May and Todd Terje) before joining fellow Hong Kong DJ Frederic Neve to launch Typhoon 8 Records where he has continued to release deep, dubby techno and house. Based in Hong Kong & Macau, Saiyan is one of the core members & resident DJ of the Magnetic Soul Crew- most visible & prolific DnB Crew in Hong Kong. He founded the first Dnb/Dubstep event - Bass Attack in Macao, which was named as "the historic moment" in the Bass music scene of Macao. He is also the co-founder of Bass Music China (BMC) which promotes Bass Music Culture in China. In 2004 Dr. released their debut album – "Dr" & kept their focus on music production & live performance. From late 90s, Gordon began emerging himself into underground music scene. His DJ sets are built on deep, dark and experimental rhythms with a spacey groove coupled with an industrial sound drums kick. Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. Having been a drummer and member of a local band in his formative years, he eventually sought refuge in electronic music; cultivating a sound that can best be described as fluid, and with an emphasis on the hypnotic spectrum of techno. He perceives sets as flowing journeys, which requires time, and an element of patience to achieve. His music project - Cipher, is a metaphor for his musical direction and vision – 'experiencing' parties that verge on the ritualistic, to which point they have been described as otherworldly. Artists both locally and internationally continue to be invited to express their various forms of deep, experimental and meditative sounds.

In Adrianna's sets, she maintains a trance-inducing state by staying open-minded about music Emerging from Hong Kong, Adrianna began her creative trajectory in life as a photographer and graphic designer. Adrianna's first glance at electronic music came through when she moved to Cologne, Germany to study design, she was drawn by the underground raving scene in the city, thus it was only natural that she goes on this path by working in electronic music-related fields and djing when she returned to Hong Kong. The young DJ has been making a mark on the dance floors by infusing heavy, minimal, and industrial techno, groove-centric breaks, and electro into her layering, sophisticated sets. Ani Phoebe is a DJ from NYC who is currently based in Hong Kong by way of Rio de Janeiro. She founded Bad Times Disco, an online record shop in Hong Kong, and runs a monthly show called Parallel Worlds on The Lot Radio. She comes from digging tradition and favors lesser-known 80s and 90s records from unexpected corners and crates. One of Ani Phoebe’s areas of experience is the downtempo, cosmic disco, and synth-pop realms, being a resident DJ of the renowned underground music festival Cosmic Gathering (DE) and having performed at experimental stages on Nation of Gondwana (DE) and Atlas Electronic (MR). At the same time, her breadth also extends to heavy dancefloors and electronic clubs, performing sets that expand on 90s progressive house to 2000s Eurodance, digging for rare versions of nostalgic numbers. Deasy is a Hong Kong based DJ, originally from London which is where his love for mixing began - on the 1210’s blending Drum & Bass back in 2005. After being a regular on the London radio station ‘Inner City FM’, he proceeded to have a residency at the night ‘Evolution’ at the club Mission (Leeds). Since then, Deasy has moved to Hong Kong where he is currently a resident at Oma - the perfect place for him to explore the deep and tech house side of the scene.

Pete Sabine, aka DJ Fabsabs, launched his career hosting indie radio shows on Fresh Air FM (Edinburgh), Subcity (Glasgow) and KSDT (San Diego). This led to a guest spot at cult underground station Resonance FM in London. Returning to his home in Hong Kong, he played Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop at local hangout Chapter 3 before becoming a Volume Beat resident in 2008. In 2010, Fabsabs featured on side A of Volume Club Anthems Asia, his first CD release. His style considered eclectic, leaning towards hip-hop, jazz funk, house and mash-up. Corporate appearances include work for MINI, Miele, UBS and Quintessentially. He is currently resident DJ at Volume Beat.

Johnny Hiller has been riding the waves of the international club scene since the early 90s through creating reputable and forward thinking parties, including the London/Tokyo based Lasermagnetic & Hong Kong based Otaku Sound System. Being associated with the underground balearic/disco revival in London, Johnny has been invited to play clubs including Fabric in London, Club Air in Tokyo, Cookies in Berlin, Nouveau Casino in Paris amongst others. Whilst DJ’ing for the best part of the last 2 decades, he has released music on his own imprint 'Spacemachine Recordings'. Johnny’s latest venture is The Music Room at Potato Head, an audiophile and vinyl only space that has put Hong Kong on the map for representing good music culture.

JVSY is a Producer DJ duo formed by Jovin Lee and Atlas Iu, also known as BURN and telvanni26. They debuted as techno producers in 2021. The organic instruments and found sounds they incorporate into their composition makes their signature cinematic sound. They are also known for their cross-genre explorations inspired by elements from house, techno, electronica, drum and bass, nu-jazz and more. With a strong classical and pop music background, they are also adept as filmer scorers, composers and session musicians.

He made his major debut album in 1993 and toured Europe as a world-standard acid jazz band. The band broke up in 1996, and Mondo Grosso became Shinichi Osawa’s solo project featuring various artists for each song. Since then, he has released hit albums such as "MG4" including "LIFE feat. Bird" and "NEXT WAVE" including "Everything Needs Love feat. BoA" while seeking the innovative music of that era and was suspended in 2003.

An American dub and reggae connoisseur previously based in Hong Kong, The Groove Thief [TGT] currently lives in Denver, Colorado, USA. Including the influential Pomegranate club residency, TGT promoted hundreds of events in the 852, leading the South China Morning Post to name him “among Hong Kong’s leading arbiters of musical taste.” In Colorado with his Pomegranate Hi Fi sound system, TGT has organized backyard boogies, guerrilla pop-ups, and sponsored collaborations, plus he’s rapidly becoming a leading American voice celebrating reggae and sound system culture. Beyond releasing live sets, mashups, and mixes, he also hosts monthly “Reggae Transfusion” and “Dub Palace” radio shows for KGNU, and is a regular guest host of the famed “Reggae Bloodlines” show.
